Justin Snyder

Justin is an Associate at Nextpoint Law Group. He possesses meaningful experience across all stages of the litigation process, including drafting pleadings, dispositive motions, discovery requests, and appellate filings. His supplemental training with various emerging legal technologies allows him to tailor his litigation support to the ever-changing needs of his clients.

Prior to joining Nextpoint Law Group, Justin served as a staff attorney for the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit, where he helped federal judges resolve over one hundred civil and criminal appeals. His experience within the federal judiciary is complemented by his prior work at a law firm and in the legal operations department of a Fortune 400 company.

During law school, Justin interned for the Honorable Debra McVicker Lynch of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Indiana, advocated on behalf of incarcerated persons in Indiana University Maurer School of Law’s habeas corpus clinic, and served as a Managing Editor of the Indiana Law Journal. He was also awarded honors in both domestic and international legal advocacy competitions based on his zealous argument style.

Apart from his legal experience, Justin currently serves as the President and founder of Eastern Michigan University’s Law and Government Alumni Association and actively seeks opportunities to engage with his community.
